What is DISC?

DISC is a behavior assessment tool that centers on four different personality traits. It's widely used in corporate settings to improve teamwork.

The 4 Styles

  • Dominance (D): Direct, firm, strong-willed, results-oriented.
    • Tip: Be brief and focus on the bottom line.
  • Influence (I): Outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic, high-spirited.
    • Tip: Let them share their ideas and build rapport.
  • Steadiness (S): Even-tempered, accommodating, patient, humble.
    • Tip: Be gentle and provide a stable environment.
  • Conscientiousness (C): Analytical, reserved, precise, private.
    • Tip: Provide data, facts, and time to think.
