Stress isn't just "being worried". It's a physiological response (Fight or Flight). But how we react varies wildly.

Common Stress Archetypes

  1. The Exploder: Gets angry, yells, vents outwardly.
    • Strategy: Needs to physically release energy (exercise, screaming into a pillow) before communicating.
  2. The Imploder: Withdraws, shuts down, internalizes everything.
    • Strategy: Needs safe connection and gentle reassurance. Journaling helps.
  3. The Fixer: Immediately tries to solve the problem, ignoring emotions.
    • Strategy: Needs to pause and acknowledge feelings before jumping to solutions.
